Meghan McCain also inexplicably called for Dr. Fauci to be fired on The View
During Monday’s episode of The View, co-host Meghan McCain — daughter of John McCain, her father — did what she does best and caused a social media uproar after making wild comments and accusations. This week, she called for Dr. Fauci to be fired and also made it clear that she, Meghan McCain, First of Her Name, Daughter of John McCain, Co-Host of The View and Word Vomiter of Bad Opinions, deserves the COVID vaccine and she deserves it right now, damn it.
The show played a clip of Dr. Fauci declining to play Ethics Police when it comes to vaccinated grandparents visiting unvaccinated grandchildren. Why? Probably because he and other infectious disease experts have discussed this particular issue in-depth for weeks (in short, wear a mask and take the typical precautions because there is still a risk to unvaccinated people even if you’re vaccinated) and everyone is going to make their own decisions about it anyway.
Meghan McCain really just said “The fact that I, Meghan McCain, COHOST OF THE VIEW, don’t know when or how I will be able to get a vaccine”

Well, Ms. McCain was having none of this. “So I was very frustrated when I saw this clip,” she said. She prefaced her word vomit by saying she doesn’t want to “downplay” the tragedy of the pandemic — which has now claimed half a million American lives and forever impacted millions more — but she’s tired of following the rules and just wants to know if she can eat dinner with her family after being vaccinated. It’s crazy how she’s surely the only person who’s frustrated by the way we’ve had to live our lives for the past year!
It’s all Dr. Fauci’s fault, apparently.
“It’s terribly inconsistent messaging and it continues to be inconsistent messaging,” she said. And then she said Dr. Fauci “doesn’t understand science” and should be removed from his position as chief medical advisor to President Biden.
Now here’s where the cognitive dissonance meets insane, rich, white woman privilege to really turn things up a notch:
“The fact that I, Meghan McCain, co-host of The View, don’t know when or how I will be able to get a vaccine because the rollout for my age range and my health is so nebulous, I have no idea when and how I get it,” she said.
Wealthy, famous people really do live in a different reality, don’t they? Because WHEW. Girl, most of us don’t know when the hell we’re going to get the vaccine! There are plenty of people over the age of 65 and people with pre-existing conditions who can’t even navigate this rollout mess to get themselves protected — and yet Meghan McCain thinks she’s unique in her frustration.
And that being a morning talk show co-host means she should have received it already?? LORD HELP US.
Twitter promptly dragged Ms. Veruca, Arizona’s first princess after the show aired.
This really exemplifies the level of disbelief rich, famous people have when their money can’t get them something. They simply cannot comprehend not being prioritized over someone else. Their money has always put them at the front of the line. https://t.co/F6kfVz5NGq

Hope everyone’s having a good night, but *especially* Meghan McCain who, after all, is co-host of The View and therefore extremely important.

The rejection of real, genuine expertise is what led us to today.
So misguided to see people like @MeghanMcCain calling for the replacement of Dr Fauci.
We should be empowering and amplifying his message to get out of this crisis and avoid any further milestones.

I was wondering when Meghan McCain would manage to make COVID about her.
I’m frankly shocked that it took this long. https://t.co/jewTdg9I7f

I’m pretty sure Dr. Fauci wasn’t speaking directly to Meghan McCain, and I’m also quite certain he said to stay home. Regardless, science evolves and Dr. Fauci is not a deity; he can only tell us – a nation full of luddites who don’t listen anyway – what the science tells him. pic.twitter.com/Y6xxYcLs5q

Did Meghan McCain (John McCain’s daughter) really call the manager of Dr Fauci?

What kind of country is this where the CO-HOST OF THE VIEW hasn’t been given full priority treatment??

Who had Meghan McCain Veruca Salt-ing the COVID19 Vaccine on their Bingo card?

The Biden Administration, which includes Dr. Fauci, has been in office for one month. Perhaps the blame should be placed on Donald Trump and his ilk — which, funnily enough, includes McCain’s own husband! Ben Domenech, co-founder of the right-wing extremist site The Federalist, has personally published a wide variety of COVID propaganda and misinformation during the last year.
It sounds like Meghan McCain is upset her last name doesn’t carry more weight in the vaccine rollout, and like most Republicans, she simply must place the blame where it doesn’t belong.
